Flashpaper is a new messaging application focused on providing their user's with security and privacy with end-to-end encryption. A private person who is behind the development of the application approached us to create an online community for the app on Facebook.

GOALS


Our primary purpose was to create a Flashpaper Facebook page and promote it to its target audiences, which were people interested in technology, communication and general consumer electronics.

HOW WE DID IT


Before starting the promotion on Facebook, we analyzed Flaspaper's target audiences and created several target personal. Because Flashpaper was a rather new app and the client wanted to push out the promotion to Asia and South America, we struggled a bit to create the target personas and to analyze their habits on Facebook.

The core of our approach was the present Flashpaper as a truly safe solution for communicating with anyone, anywhere. To show that to the target audience, we based our promotional strategy on two pillars. First one, that we used to promote the page itself was to show that existing communication platforms are not safe as large corporations own them, and the second one, which was used to create content, was to educate our audience why privacy and safety are important.
